Hi! I'm Katie and I'm the dreamer of
Fearlessly Fancy. My Husband and I were blessed to have our little diva,
Ansley, join our family in August of 2014. We thank God EVERYDAY for her
Adoption!
She has multiple medical needs and has
recently ben placed with a Gtube. It is a literal LIFESAVER for her, but it
just isn't quite "fancy". We do dress it up with fancy yet functional
tubie covers (bye bye granulation tissue), but it's a little challenging to
dress up. We wear mostly two piece outfits for easy access to the tube. BUT
now, we have found a bubble style that is Fancy and Functional for tubies!!!
Yipee!!
So then I thought, why not send it to other
little divas with tubes to help remind them they can still be fancy?! To remind
them they are PERFECT!!! So then I created Fearlessly Fancy with a dear friend
who has a heart of gold and a heart for serving God by serving others.
Our mission verse for
Fearlessly Fancy is Psalms 139:14 "...For you are fearfully and
wonderfully made..." We pray over every stitch, every goodie, and every

My name's Chelsey and my nerd hobby is sewing!
Now that that's off my back...I was born and
raised in Canada and after living there for five years with my husband, we've
recently moved to Florida where he's originally from. We have two girls,
Elle who is 5 and Kenzie who is 2.
Katie and I have always
been friends through our husbands, but since moving to Florida we have spent
many hours with our girls looking for cute outfits and talking "Mom
Talk". When Katie expressed to me the specific clothing needs Ansley has
to be able to access the Gtube, and showed me different bubbles that worked, I
knew I could come up with something that would be both functional for Mommy and
fancy for baby girl. I am mainly a self taught sewer, and by no means think I'm
professional. My Nana taught me the basics and over the past year I have been
using patterns as a guide and altering them to make the unique pieces I'm
looking for. My passion for sewing and the desire to love on and encourage
other Moms was a natural fit as we talked through Fearlessly Fancy.
